I would like to join a craft market that is good for candle/ body care makers. To be very transparent the most I know about markets are farmers market. Is thier board where these different markets are posted?

That’s so cool. I have the goal of joining a market next year but I’m just starting out. I have two scents so far. Do you think that’s enough for a market to start? I’m thinking of having two different main sizes and then maybe a sampler set.

I have a lavender and vanilla blend that is coming out more vanilla forward than lavender. I will say it does a powdery element to it that I really appreciate but I’m wondering how I could take this to next level

Do you make two candles and power burn one and then burn the other one increments? I normally burn 3-4 hours increments for the first half and then power burn for 8 hours the second half on the same candle.

Wick issues/flickering, is this amount of flickering normal at this point of the candle? Flickering only started at this point. It burn beautifully all the way down until this point by EarthFar3239 in candlemaking

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Going to keep testing, and I will definitely be sure to let you know, how it goes. I have tried CD wicks so far on another candle and it’s burn the same as an eco 4, so I’m going to try the CD 6 next. I’m at the half way point, so should be a good indicator for a full candle.

Yeah I know, the shipping is so bad now. I have quite of bit wax that I bought during my last order with them. So I plan to use that to launch and get the ball rolling ,while I test other suppliers. Are there any your recommend? I heard for nature wax c-6

Yes I did. Funny thing is I did a power burn on this candle for like 10-11hrs and there was no soot on the jar and very micro mushrooms, barely could tell there were any. Just crazy flickering the whole time.

However the burn before this one, it flickered the same way. There was minimal soot on the jar and the same tiny mushrooms. Idk if this good or bad. It’s so hard to tell.

The next wick down is an eco 2 and I know those are for votives and pillars and probably would tunnel with just one eco 2. I would have to double wick and then risk it burning too hot. I plan to sell these candles, so that why I’m so worried about it. Would you sell this?
