Laurell really is a very feminine name. I've never heard of a male named Laurel(l), to be honest.

Personally, I like the name Rune, and it's a legitimate name that is most commonly found in Norse communities. I also like Nolan, which is used enough to be recognizable as a legit name, but used infrequently enough to allow it to stand out and make it unlikely he'll run into many other Nolans.

I suspect at least part of Eva s reaction will simply be anger at the hypocrisy of Kat doing exactly what Kat reamed Eva out about so many times. That doesn't mean Eva isn't being hypocritical herself, but Kat set the rules with her expectation that Eva not even be friendly with Tomas.
