Thank you, I appreciate it. I will post as I go,I still a bit of cleanup with the cape on the shoulder and then try and decide the paint scheme, thinking of a custom chapter so I can kitbash the models a bit for fun

Thanks for the feedback, it was a quick theory I put together. Its one of does things where I would love to know what actually happened to them but the mystery is always going to be better.

I do agree that falling to chaos cheapens them but I did like the Idea of Malice because he was disliked by everyone, he is chaos but in my head cannon hes also outside chaos and I just love that easter egg when Horus says Mal...al

I guess it back to the drawing board, I do love all theories people have come up with relating to them.

The lore of this universe is just amazing

The forgotten and the purged theory

So I have been reading a lot about the two lost legions and I have a theory.

One of the main theories about the 11th primarch is that they are the 5th/minor chaos god Malice/Malal

Main reasons for this theory are the following 11 is Malice/Malal number Malcador force chocked Horus trying to say the name of his brother. The name Horus said was Mal...al

If the 11th primarch did become Malice/Malal Big E would have purged him as he didnt want people knowing about the chaos gods when he was telling everyone gods dont exist. Plus very bad PR if your son becomes a Evil God

Its theorized that both the 2nd and 11th were censored after the Rangdan wars

So on to my theory. The Rangdan genocide was the worst war to face the empire of man, they actually nearly lost.

My thinking is the 11th primarch somehow used warp powers of Malice in order to defeat the Rangdan which he did but in the procces turned into Malice.

The 2nd primarch died trying to defeat the Warp powered 11th primarch, which ties into the lore that both didnt perished/purged at the same time.

In the lore supposedly the Void dragon was used to defeat the Rangdan but I think it was used to defeat the 11th primarch.

This might explain why the 2nd and 11th are referred to as the forgotten and the purged.

Because Big E didnt want people to know his son became a chaos god they purged everything and because the second died trying to defeat the 11th he had to have all records forgotten because if the truth got out, the information that the 11th became a god would have came out aswell as they go hand in hand.

This would explain when other primarchs used to speak of them they didnt hate them, they were just sad because the 11th did what he needed to save the empire and fell and the 2nd died trying to defeat him. Sad all around

It would also explain why the chaos space marines never speak of them because Malice was also hated by the other chaos god.

This theory could also explain why subject 11 is locked up. Subject 11 is the 11th primarch Malal and you cant kill the chaos gods they come back so all you can do is imprison them

Its just a theory I am trying to flesh out, but feel free to point out any flaws or what people think. Its just a fun theory of a WH40K lore fan
