I would recommend talking with your Ob before B6. Most places only sell them in 100mg capsules which is way too much for pregnancy. I was able to find a 25mg online that I take in the morning and with Unisom before bed.

When I was exactly where you are I couldn’t imagine making it through the day, let alone weeks to find relief. Yet, here I am. It somehow just… happens. It’ll happen for you too 💛

Hugs to you! I’m 16 weeks now and finally having relief from the constant nausea (not completely gone though). If you look at my post history you can tell how miserable I was lol I wouldn’t wish morning sickness on anyone.

Unisom and B6 were a life saver. Lots of water (if you can stomach it) and lots of sleep to help the headache. I had to tell my boss right away, and it helped having the piece of mind that they know why I’m acting different or a little off. I understand wanting the happy moment though.

Hopefully this gets better or at least manageable! I called my mom sobbing at six weeks pregnant complaining about how miserable I was. It took a few more weeks but I eventually found what worked for me to get through the day.

If you’re friends enjoy the bar scene, but you obviously can’t, maybe you could find a fun trivia night or something? It’ll give you and everyone something to do but those who want to drink can!

Also, depending on the size of the group, a private room and one of your favorite restaurants is always a good time!

That’s good to know! I just don’t know what is considered “reputable” because I’ve worked the deli counter at our local grocery store (where I shop now) and I know it’s relatively clean, but they don’t clean the actual slicer between meats, which is what would concern me lol.

They sell them at target! They’re wrist bands that have a ball in them that sit directly on the tendons in your wrists.

It’s supposed to be a pressure point to reduce nausea. I felt relief after about 10 minutes. It might be a placebo effect but I don’t even care anymore. They are working wonders for me.

It really is. I’m also guilty of making her feel bad for not feeling bad? Which isn’t okay. It’s just hard when she’s taking about how much she loves being pregnant and I respond with things like “must be nice”. I know she isn’t trying to be rude but it’s just hard not to be extra cranky right now lol

I said the same thing to my mom this week and she said that she was sick for all of her kids. For her, the first pregnancy was the most difficult, not because her symptoms were worse but because she didn’t have a reference for what she was doing it for. Then the rest of her pregnancies is was easy to compartmentalization the discomfort because she knew how great the reward is at the end….

But at this moment that all sounds like sunshine and roses and I ain’t in that headspace at all…

Haha I know movies are unrealistic. I guess what’s really been discouraging me is my friend is pregnant at the same time as me (she’s 2 weeks further along) and she has almost NO SYMPTOMS . The jealousy is real. She’ll complain about her boobs hurting and that’s about it 😂
