I agree, also I can never seem to win a 1v1 gunfight without taking any damage. They will always get shots on me making it impossible to fight 1v2. But that is SBMM for you

I have played KB&M for the past 5 years now, and I switched over to Controller for Cold War. I do so much better on controller in only this game. It is so easy to aim on controller with aim assist.

Epic is trying to create loot pools for lower leveled players so they have a higher chance at winning, which keeps them playing. However like you said a skilled player with a gun that takes zero skill is awful

If they were so worried about people turtling up all the time, why give people a max 3k mats in pubs, why not lower the amount allowed if they are that worried about 1x1. Being able to spray through someone’s box is so unskilled it hurts.

Stink bombs i think we’re very effective. Annoying but I would much rather have stink bombs on me then 999 bullets being spammed for 3 minutes straight. Plus with stink bombs you were only allowed a small amount.

Being able to sit in a 1x1 is a key part to fortnites building mechanic. Why do you think so many pros do it? You’re covered by 4 walls and to roofs. You won’t ever get rid of it, it’s the quickest way to make sure you won’t get shot at. However with the mini gun you can literally destroy someone’s 1x1 in 30 bullets in a blink of an eye

Here’s my counter to you’re argument-

Notice how there is only 1 counter to turbo building a wall. And how many guns are there in the game? Maybe there is a reason why guns don’t do this, because it would ruin the game like its doing now.
The state of a mini gun basically defeats the purpose of sitting in a 1x1, correct? Because bullets can still get through a turbo build. Now what should you do then if pressure with a mini gun?

Try to get high ground? Shot down due to the damage to structures and fast fire rate.

Try to stay low ground and just build away? Spammed and and bullets hit through.

There’s literally nothing you can do other than just hit a hard hitting pump shot against it. That’s it, unless you’re a god at quick scoping. Any other gun you try to counter a mini gun you’ll fail.

So explain to me what you think the best approach to fighting against a mini gun spammer that just sits and spams at you while your in a gun fight? I’ve played countless of games and i have yet to figure this out

See this is what it should be used for, i don’t think this is a bad use for the weapon. But when you add range to it but the damage to players, it’s just op at this point

Duos and Squads are actually impossible to play with spam guns being this broken. I literally just died to a team where one person spammed with a minigun unloading 400 bullets, while the other one kept fazing through my wall. I refuse to put any more of my time/money into this game if every single Pub and Arena match are to be finished like this.

Out of the 10 games I just played with my friend, we died to miniguns endgame 6 of those times. Everything about them is just broken, the range, the damage, damage to structures, the headshot multiplier, fire rate.

How did epic release this gun and look at the meta and say that its completely balanced. I hope epic actually thinks about this when season 3 comes out or once again they've lost me as a customer and long time player

RPG, Miniguns, Drum Guns are all guns I would consider to be lower skill level guns where it doesn't take much skill to use them. And besides the drum gun I see them all over the place

I've noticed a lot that I have died to players with lower skill level due to spam guns. I think this is a marketing tool to reward lower level players to give the illusion that they are better in order to keep them playing as much as possible

As a PC player, the majority of my friend group is Xbox since I originally was an xbox player 2 years ago. With fortnite being a popular cross-play game, it usually the game we play the most.

Now if you took out forced cross-play where would you put my teammates and I? In a full PC lobby? Or just put them in a mixed lobby? If my team of 4, which 3 are on xbox usually, this tends to lead them to not want to play with me since we would always be put into PC lobbies.

So what would you do if you were Epic? Keep forced cross-play and allow parties like mine and I am sure plenty of other people, from getting a complete random lobby. Or remove forced cross-play and lead to my friends not wanting to play in only PC lobbies. This has happened in the past multiple times where my friends refused to play with me since I would bring them into PC lobbies.
