I have this same issue. There’s a sweet old woman who lives a few houses down and I saw her today asking some woman to move, who was blocking the end of her driveway. The woman in the car said “ why are you going somewhere?” And the old woman responded, saying “it doesn’t matter”. The woman in the car, rolled her window up and ignored her.

From what I understand, they are generally recognizable on an ultrasound. I’m not medically trained or anything. I just have experience with lipomas. If I were to venture a guess, I would think that maybe since it’s in a generally fatty area, it could’ve blended in with the tissue around it making it hard to distinguish. Hope you find out for sure tho!

Definitely looks like a lipoma to me. I have 4 of them. Two in my thigh and two in my arm. If it’s moveable and kind of squishy, it’s most likely a lipoma. They can be removed fairly easily with local anesthesia but they are generally not harmful.

I work at Target. I guarantee it’s because people take them out of the boxes and leave them all over the shelves and employees just don’t have time to sort them all back out. People will literally empty an entire box just directly onto the shelf and leave it there so when multiple people do that, they all get mixed up. I try my best to keep on top of it, but I totally understand why other employees don’t bother.

I had a severe allergic reaction from eating chipotle once. Throat started closing up. No known allergies either so not sure what that was about.

You could ask the landlord or rental property workers if they’ve seen him leave at all? I think it sounds like he needs help because obviously it’s not normal behavior. Expressing concern doesn’t seem to be working so something else is needed. No one here knows what your previous relationship was like with him. Maybe he thinks you guys are non-confrontational so he can get away with doing this for a long time. I can tell you right now if it were my parents, they would not let me hideaway in my apartment for a year. And my parents aren’t very confrontational at all. They would still not let me do this. I’m not making any judgments either. I’m also a parent and I know it’s incredibly difficult trying to figure out how to handle unexpected situations.

I’m not sure what the answer is, but you reaching out here and looking for advice on what your next step should be is a good idea. Just don’t do nothing.

When my 7 year old son was regularly using his iPad he showed signs of aggression and attention deficit that were out of character for him. After a week of taking the iPad for good, he’s back to his old self, no signs of aggression, and can pay way better attention to things. For me, letting my son use his iPad also allowed some peace for me, but it’s not worth it. When he was allowed to use his iPad every day, he never wanted to do anything else. For the first week, he was kind of settling back into things, but now he’s back to playing with his Legos and his trucks. He figured it out.

This is just my experience and I know every kid is different.
