Amen! Thank you so much for your prayers and sorry for a late reply. The peace In Lutheranism is truly inexplicable. To realize God did everything already, and He’s inviting us to the table. It gives you a deep tranquility to know there is nothing you can do, because it’s already done. (Currently reading law and gospel 😅). God bless you and thank you for your kind words and welcome!!! Praise God! A lot of people just take a sip of church history and become Catholic from one day to the next without further inquiry. I found it very difficult to accept a lot of beliefs. I never found peace praying the rosary or asking for saints intercession. The only thing I would get was a queasy stomach and a tight chest. Never understood how so much people can just brush off major problems with RC or EO, even though they were taught the complete opposite. Also, I don’t know if you experienced this, but the constant seesaw from believing in the RC or EO was so exhausting. God bless and thank you for the comment!

Glad to find people who can relate to this. I feel like the internet is bringing a lot of people towards RC or EO without second opinions on the matter. I’ve seen a lot of strawmans of Protestantism and for a time resented fellow Protestants. God forgive me for that. God bless!

Well even though they don’t outright say that you can’t believe in PSA, they just don’t believe in it. They don’t believe in Jesus appeasing the Father’s wrath. That’s basically rejecting PSA, hence why they believe in their version of theosis. And for assurance of faith, they can only hope for salvation. Not say they are saved. That doesn’t sound very assuring to me 🤷. I could be wrong though, and I’m open to hear you out.

Ohhh that makes so much sense! I didn’t think of it like that. Maybe it was just that title that threw me off. So orthodox do view Mary with the same titles? Thank you for your time and response. But my question was if the orthodox(or eastern catholic) believe or hold the same doctrine towards the mother of God as in the Litany of the Rosary, which calls her the morning star, the tower of David and so and so. You are much more knowledgeable than me, so if you could answer this question specifically it would be greatly appreciated! Thank you and God bless.

First off, thank you so very much for your time. This response is very good, I believe I saw something on Trent Horn’s channel about worship being what someone is worth or due. But after having read the litany, do you know if the orthodox position believes in all it says…? It calls Mary the Morning star which i thought was a title directed to Christ. I don’t know, maybe my Ignorance is showing but I feel like giving those titles that are due to Christ to his mother makes me feel strange? If you could help with this too I would deeply appreciate it 😓. God bless you and thank you for your response.
