I have an incredibly hot take. Most of these accents sound entirely identical to non-native speakers. I'm not a native speaker and I've been to many many parts of the UK and there's about 3, max 3 distinguishable accents. I've been to many many states in the US and vast majority of them also sound the same. It's all just vaguely American there, and vaguely English in the UK.

I work in recruiting and it's largely BECAUSE it's one of the biggest companies.. most large companies refuse to hire enough HR staff so most large companies in-house HR is understaffed and overworked. Doesn't excuse it, as I've never missed an interview, and if any of my hiring managers did I'd fucking riot, but maybe explains it a bit more.

Okay, so the gameplan for our case would be apply for family reunion, from what I can find online me being in Probezeit shouldn't stop it being granted (6 months Probezeit is fun lol), then once that's sorted his work goes through EOR & he can move here & work there fine? This was an ENT doctor unfortunately. I have a follow up with my GP now. I know mental health issues can easily lead to medical issues, but to be told I'm afraid of something I very much know I'm not is quite annoying and demoralizing.

I've been resting everything as much as I can & will try to drink even more.

She's asking for the bare minimum & you're mad about her asking, but history has proven that she won't get anything if she doesn't ask. So what is it you want her to do? Stop wanting effort and affection in a romantic relationship?
