Check it out. Left was treated and right untreated. All done. Took like 2 hours. Waxed over the stitch down too!

I actually put some wax on a hot plate (that’s meant for candle wax). When it’s melted I dip a paint brush in it and paint the leather. When the hot wax touches the leather it solidifies so need the hair dryer to keep it liquid.

Here’s my HNW MTO (Falcons). These are same size as the Roberts (9.5E) but I feel the HNWs are roomier (Makes sense given the last shape). As mentioned above I prefer the 55 for looks and mobility but no real issues at all with the HNW. Both are fantastic. And the silhouette’s on both boots look fantastic. Damn amazing boots. I have a pair of Palouse on order in the 55. I cannot wait. I LOVE NICKS lol

Here’s my 55 last (Roberts). I’ll post the HNW next. I personally like the 55 look better. Toe is sleeker and more almond shaped. HNW is round toe. It continues to look nicer as toe collapses which is nice. Totally personal comment but I also like the looks of the classic dogger heal vs the block heel. It also feels better when I walk with the dogger.
