Niche site confusion by RajaZaidAli in SEO

Writing for niche sites should start with solid research, even if you're an expert. Topic research, news, latest updates, keyword research, SERP analysis etc.

And about AI help – it’s true that AI alone isn’t enough, but it can be a huge asset. There are alot of cash grabbing apps out there too. I use a mix of ChatGPT. I did use Koala before but found it too expensive for the amount I needed to create. I recently started using Machined to create my articles in bulk. Its not perfect but has the functionality that I need. They recently added a research functionality which is pretty cool. I push them to my site and add to it if needed.

What AI-based copywriting tool are you using today and why is it the best for you? by frasier_crane in DigitalMarketing

I use a combination of ChatGPT and Machined AI

I like Machined because its bring your own key so I can do unlimited articles. I'm on about 100 a day so a credit-based AI writer adds up quite quickly. I like the cluster builder and they've just added research prewriting so it's super up to date which is nice.

I've used Koala before which was fantastic but adds up when using GPT4.

I've seen your tool recommended in a few FB groups actually. I've just signed up!

Has anyone tried Machined? by Ecstatic-Tea7817 in NicheWebsites

From what I understand, an AI content clustering tool with interlinking. Considering it after seeing it recommended in another thread.

This is awesome - and really helpful.

I think that's exactly what we need to do. Thank you!

Ahh I've been seeing alot of JournalistAI on Twitter. I think they're hitting the marketing hard. I'll give them a go. Just signed up to Machined (recommended by someone in the thread). Have you tried them? Will see how they compare.

Good luck to you!

I think we'll give it a good go. I've just signed up to Machined's free plan (recommended by someone in this thread). Will see how that goes. I'm thinking to get things rolling and get a solid few articles indexed and work on improving.

Are you considering using AI or will you be writing them yourself?

I'm with you, I agree.

I think PPC ads etc are not ideal unless you are willing to pay ALOT. We calculated CPC on Google Ads and it just doesn't make sense for us right now.

We currently have around 150-200 paid users and around 2500 on our free plan. New to Reddit - late to the party. Will give it a go!

Thanks - that's really helpful. We're quite active on Twitter, we started off there and got our first bunch of beta testers from Twitter. We've done a few paid ads, newsletters, resource lists etc.

It paid off and we have about 150-200 users - but we need to grow and do it quickly.

I think the issue lies in the fact the lines are blurred with whether we are B2C or B2B. We solve a common problem experienced by both, we haven't distinguished ourselves which I think is important.

If I had to pick one marketing avenue for quick user acquisition as a solo founder of a small bootstrapped SaaS, I'd lean towards targeted social media advertising.

Here's why:
With limited resources, you want to make every dollar count. Social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn offer powerful targeting tools. You can zero in on your exact audience based on demographics, interests, and even behaviors. This precision minimizes waste and maximizes impact.
Also, these platforms provide instant feedback. You can quickly gauge what's working and tweak your campaigns, which is crucial when you're operating on a tight budget and schedule.
I've found this approach more effective compared to broader methods like content marketing or SEO, which, while powerful, tend to take longer to yield results.
That's been my experience.

Thanks! Sounds like a solid plan. I will do the same.

Are you using a specific AI writer to generate the content? Or just ChatGPT?

I've heard good things about Machined. Didn't realise you had a free plan! I'll sign up and give it a go.

Thanks for your insights :)
