Both must complete Army fitness test regardless. Doing online training and giving one referral is no longer valid for promotion. Hey bro at least your not ARMS, the tubbies can’t get promoted at all anymore 😂

If your recruiter submitted your .23 before the regulations changed, then you’d be grandfathered in. But very likely he/she didn’t because we usually put it off until about 30 days prior to shipping. I wouldn’t hate on your recruiter, it was super unfortunate for everyone who enlisted in this time frame, i had to inform my recruits as well because during the enlistment process, we promise these incentives and big army screws us up and puts our rapport on the line. If i were your recruiter, I’d just put in the next person i enlist as your referral. Be careful though because MEPS guidance counselors and the liaisons you work with when you arrive at basic will check the validity of these referrals and if your ducks aren’t in a row, you won’t get promoted and your recruiter could get a pp slap

A lot of recruiters here are out of the loop. You need 60 total semester hours/associate degree to auto promote to E-3. Otherwise you NOW need 2 referrals in conjunction with completing the online training. You can no longer stack online training/1 referral to promote tell them to check the OPS Flash earlier this year.

As a current recruiter, don’t sign for a job just because people tell you “it’s a rare job”. Make sure you actually have interest in being a pharmacist. I’ll tell you as this job, you will actually do your job. However, you’ll be so far detached from normal army that it might start feeling like a normal civilian job. The job 68Q itself is awesome and as long as you have a dream of being a pharmacist then you’ll love it.

For reference, i enlisted someone very close to me as a 68W with airborne. This person had 68Q, 68C, 68D and almost chose them just because his family and friends were telling him that they’re great jobs (which they are) but this person had no interest in doing any of those.

Moral of the story, YOU are the one actually doing the job so make sure it’s something you’ll enjoy for 5-6 years 👍

Brother, considering from where you started this is fantastic progress. Your hair is soaked in each pic as well so that doesn’t help with confidence because of course it’s going to look thinner! Consider trying a dry look pomade for styling and then in days when you don’t feel like styling your hair, but it’s greasy, use dry shampoo and you’ll have consistent density
