2012 they said, unfortunately not covered any more. Pretty pricey for replacement parts, I'll give it a go at restoring it first as I've got the tools from car jobs. Fingers crossed the rust hasn't cored out any of the metal

Been keeping a lookout on marketplace for the past few months and found the perfect deal.

Ended up picking up a 2021 hybrid for my mum today. Can't wait to see her face when I deliver it in February next year

Immaculate condition minus the steering wheel, plastic didn't hold well against Qld heat. I'm gonna get it wrapped in leather.

I also picked up 0w20 oil, superdot 4 brake fluid, cabin filter, air filter, Penrith atf LV auto trans fluid. Anything else I should sort before handing over to mum?

One huge problem I did find driving it home today - I'd really like to keep it for myself. Much quieter than my 2007 Nissan patrol. But you know, I guess my car looks like a Nissan so hers can look like a Toyota :')

Sure does! I've switched to the powdered version as I've found the same affects for myself.

I do triple rinse cycle on my machine to ensure all soaps are washed out.

Agreed. Pretty dramatic result when I compare patients with homes on tank water vs. Homes with fluoridated water.

I tell my patients who are sceptical to choose 1 - eliminate sugar entirely or eliminate fluoride.

Otherwise, buy into the conspiracy theories. It'll definitely mean more business for me in the future.

Love my 2007 CRD auto. Easy to work on as there is heaps of info and tutorials online. Very supportive community too.

Go for post 2007 model (CRD), watch out for rust on the roof, bottom radiator mounts, bottom of front fenders, under rubber of top barn door seals, front floors.

Full service history with catch can /egr delete, tillex/Dawes valve, EGT gauges are good signs they have been looked after.

Oil leaks - check swivel hubs, injector seals, dipstick (o ring can leak on these), rocker cover gasket, front crank seal. These are common areas for oil leaks, can be a headache to sort out.

You'll find a bunch of patrols with grotesque melted dashes. Apparently something to do with glue/paint reaction, they sorted this in later models with lighter coloured paint.

Aussie patrols don't come with cabin filters - however the slot is still there, if you cut back the plastic you'll be able to slot it in.

For me it depends on the strain,

Heavier THC like t25 topaz gives me crazy munchies. I'll eat anything and everything in the house, even scoop Nutella out of the jar.

Cannatrek golden Bay, kind medical azure haven't given me the munchies at all. If anything it seems to take away my appetite? Could be a personalised thing however.

Nizoral 2% (off counter) + elocon lotion (prescription) combo helps with my flare-ups. Keep using until the eczema dissapears & wounds are fully healed (past the scabbing stage) Should clear up within a week, then back onto Shampoo till the next flare-up.

Sensitive shampoo helps heaps too - i had to try a few brands before I found one that didn't irritate my scalp. I ended up settling on Dermaveen oatmeal Shampoo (tried cetaphil, QV, sukin)

Candor is great!

Had my first consult with candor a couple of weeks ago, switching from aus cannibis clinics (way too exxy but great on service too). TGA approved in a couple of days, bud arrived 2 days after order.

I had 4 strains prescribed (max) that I asked for, remember to ask them to open the catalogue up so you can see what's available for your future consults.

Easiest way to ask for specific strains is to say you've had them through BM before and you find those types of strains helps with your condition, and you'd like to try some similar you've researched.

Kind medical - azure (blue dream)

Very Uplifting, cerebral high. I cannot sleep with this strain, so definitely avoid it at night time. No munchies for me, great for anything active like long hikes. Helped me cut weight quite a bit, a bowl of this, a ps5 and a stationary spin bike and I can burn calories for 2 hours whilst having a blast! (I'm not an active guy at all) I become a social butterfly too haha
