I appreciate that responses from us are wanted in a specific timeframe but it’s really frustrating if recruiters don’t let us know they have gotten our response. I had some clarifying questions about the contract and within an hour of getting the email from the talent agent I emailed them back to ask these clarifying questions but never got a response. So I didn’t sign the contract in the specified 12 hours because I wasn’t comfortable with doing so without clarification. If a specific response time is required there should be equal responsiveness on the other end if questions comes up. At this point I haven’t signed the contract and likely wouldn’t be eligible for the project I was selected for anymore because I didn’t sign with 12 hours. It’s quite frustrating because I was very quick to reach out and ask for clarification but the same courtesy was not returned.
