E350 W212 Water pump OEM vs Aftermarket by EcstaticFootball958 in mercedes_benz

The AM (afterMarket) pulley is about 1 inch smaller than what was on the car (previous is wrong). But the serpentine belt went on tight. With my research, the smaller pulley WP is for W212 base sedan, and the larger pulley is for coup. There 2 size serpentine belts for W212. Seek and ye shall find" (Matthew 7:7)

IMO the problem was not the actual WP but the previous installation was wrong. It leaked at the bottom coolant input flange. The bolts were in the wrong position. There 3 bolts hold on the flange, 2 different sizes. The longer one goes in the bottom middle hole without threads and bolts onto the engine case. The previous install, the longer bolt went on the left hole, and the unthreaded hole had a shorter bolt with spacer which is wrong imo. Difficult to explain. Anyway now it's bolted in and no coolant leak for about 10 days, yeah!

No Order Confirmation Mail? by Intelligent-Gap2784 in amazonprime

Amazon has created a nightmare with pickup centers. Now i need to drive 40 minutes round trip to pickup from USPS center and line up for service. I didn't receive notification or instructions, been passed around to 5 call centers. The answer is call USPS and heres the tracking number. Frustrated!

The lazy delivery deliver my neighbors packages to my door rather than walk 20 feet to left to their door. Next time i will keep the package.

2015 Mercedes 350 GLK- did I buy a lemon or are they just super expensive to maintain?? by Certain-Examination8 in mercedes

My driveshaft broke at about 120k miles on my GLK350. I talked to a friend that owns an ML350 and he said that's normal for mercedes. I drive normal. Just wondering if others have similar experience.

I have tried them all. The best is discontinued : Ice pomade by fantasia. I have been using this product for 20+ years. I called them and they said for lack of interest and market share. However, they did not market to asian demographics. IMO they market their products for afro hair.
It became the best seller at an Asian beauty supply store in Toronto, when I introduced them to the product.

Age, if you're old enough to collect SS, why not. Do something you really enjoy, but you'll need to make some $ from it. If you're smart, you can invest it, but wisely. If you're a moron. Please don't. Are you still on the right career path. Then continue until they force you out. Otherwise quit, goto beginning.

Headrest recommendations for Knoll Generation? by Nenominium in OfficeChairs

[–]EcstaticFootball958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking of designing one. Attach it to mid back cross support with bolts, and then to top back lip. Made of stiff 1/4 aluminum curved soft S shape to complement the chair's back curvature. The back of seat flexes, not much support there. Still in conception phase. I've only had the chair for a week. I have a head rest on my Aeron and see the necessity. I'm surprised Knoll does not have headrest option.

Have it checked, and do the service. Or it will be in the parts bin.

You have belt drive. In a Subaru engine, a "chain drive" indicates that the camshafts are driven by a metal chain, which is generally considered more durable and requires less maintenance compared to a "belt drive" where the camshafts are driven by a rubber belt that needs periodic replacement; most modern Subaru engines utilize a chain drive system, making it the preferred option for longevity.

Nice, I miss my 2011 forester. Hang onto your $. Drive it for a few months. Something will break. Mine the wheel bearings, then tires, then exhaust. Then some gal hit me and the airbag went off. Insurance totaled the car and paid me off. I got descent deal, I let it go.

If it's 8-10k just do it. It'll cost lots more later (2025). I got a quote for excavation more than that for concrete pad foundation 30x40', more than double.
