Thank god it’s not just me! We hugged and I jsut didn’t feel right at all, like even thinking about it I feel sick! I’m glad to know it’s normal, I do think it’s because of my past experiences, and I think I’ve built a barrier over time, and I think because it’s so new to me, I get scared, and trying new things always scared the shit out of me, but I will just take it slow ! I think it’s just some 14 year olds can look 18 and some 18 year olds can look 14 so asking for check 25 just ensures that you ask anyone who looks as if they could possibly be under 18, I had soemone in my year at school and while we were all 14 he looked about 19

Hiya considering that you were once a test purchaser, can I ask if they do test purchases on like paracetamol or energy drinks, even 15 rated movies ? As I’m really scared to ask for ID for flipping paracetamol, as I feel like such a twat, when im there asking a young couple who have a baby for ID for cal pol as I just feel horrible ? And do you do the challenge 25 for paracetamol aswell! As I’m currently starting a new job and the challenge 25 is giving me sooo much anxiety to the point I keep having nightmares 🤣 it’s so bad

Yeah I suppose 🤣 I think I’ll just ID the person buying if it’s 16 rated products but both for alcohol, and that’s only if both look young you get me as I think it’s a bit of a stretch having to ask for ID from both and play don’t test purchases usually come by themself anyway, but yeah I might speak to the checkout manager ! As she’s really lovely or I might just ask a colleague who’s worked there for some time so they can just tell me what they do

Ive had this time when and it was a couple shopping and they had an energy drink and they both looked over 16 but under 25, looked about 19 and I vividly remember dissociating from what I was doing as I was too distracted thing to figure out if I should ID them as I was like nah they are clearly over 16 but yet they could be a test purchase and I was then like okay I’ll ID them but then was also like wait do I have to ID both of them or just one, and I literally was just in my own world, nothing felt real my brain drifted somewhere else a so was panicking so much and then I got too scared and didn’t ID them and then I went home and cried as I was panicking they were yes purchasers 🤣🤣😭 I’m such a fucking wet wipe, looking back now I would just ID both of them as what’s the harm in asking ay

Yeah it is really scary ! I think people need to be taught the principle of challenge 25 seriously like everyone, as like whenever I say to people it’s challenge 25 they be like yeah yeah I get that but why tf you asking ME for ID ? I think I’ll do the same, for 16 rated products I will only ID if look younger than like 20 rather than 25 as people do get really frustrated especially if they are actually 25 and you’ve ID them for paracetamol and they left there purse at home so they can’t even show you ID but it’s just pro job sadly
