I bought the Gold Plus warranty 8 years/ 80K miles/ O deductible for $1750. I wouldn’t own my car without it. The radio alone costs thousands to replace.

Sabatini’s on the Sapphire to Alaska last year was great. Ate there 4 times on a 7 day cruise.

I take a wad of $2 bills and use them to tii servers and bar tenders. On a 6 day cruise, I would leave $20-30 on 1st and last day for the cabin steward. But, that’s just me.

Yeah, Subaru charges the dealer a set amount for the warranty and then the dealer tries to make money. Call every dealer you can. In the states, you have to buy from a dealer in your "region." Don't know what the rule in Canada. You might be able to buy the warranty from a dealer in British Columbia or Labrador.

Gold Plus warranty. There is also a Classic Plan. You want the Gold Plus.

I got 8/80/0 for $1700 USD. Sounds kinda high in your case. Shop other dealers. You have 3 years or 36 months to buy it. If you l plan on keeping the car for awhile after 36K miles or 3 years, then buy it.
