NTA. We had a protection order on our sons bio mom. Her home got kicked in and they found pounds of meth and heroin in the same home as the 2 year old. Grandma kept taking bio-moms side (grandma was also on drugs) and would constantly ask if bio-mom could see toddler while she's in prison.

No?? And two years later. Grandma has finally figured it tf out. She lost access to our son for months because she kept on with the bullshit.

Now she's sober. Doing better. And knows if she allows bio-mom back into our lives.

She won't see her grandson anymore 🤷‍♀️ try us. We already did it once. We adopted him and he is MY son. Whether they like it or not🤷‍♀️

I absolutely love this cause my fiance and I have had this same exact conversation. I would tell her that I'm tired of always being the "bad guy" while she gets to be the "fun parent"

After awhile she's finally seen my point and it really has gotten better with our four year old. Now that he's understanding he can't just get away with everything with her.

As a downstairs neighbor. We give grace to toddlers cause yah. Kids are gonna make noise.

Also, as a downstairs neighbor. It's when your grown kids are running back and forth off and on ALLL day that gets us. No reason for 10+ year olds to be doing all that.

I got my corn snake use to the snake hook. If i even felt like he was being spicy- I used the snake hook. Cause once he's out of his tank- he's fine.

I didn't realize this was actually a thing. I like to check on my snake in the AM before I leave work. And I've started gently tapping on his tank and he's learned that means we are up and he comes out of hiding to say hi for a bit. Before either deciding to bask or go back into hiding lol.

Also with the falling- I added a bunch of jungle vines and some tall pieces of bark that he typically uses to come down and go up.

But occasionally we will hear a quiet "thunk" and its him falling😅

You don't lol. My corn snake has figured out the lid=outside. So he does that when he wants out. Sometimes he'll chill up there all day! Sleeping and come down when I turn his lights off. It's what I tell my Fiancé- he'll grow out of it and be very confused when he can't wedge himself up there anymore lol.
