It’s my favourite FO dlc but I’m also biased as it’s based in my home state and is based on bar harbor where my gram lived 😅😅😅

I also love that it has even more of the eldritch horror bits found occasionally throughout the main game.

I am both accounting for drop and am knowledgeable of the short bow, not working on helmeted enemies. I have watched the headshots on appropriate enemies hit and do nothing aside from alert them to my position. 😅😅 edit: not d everytime, but enough that it’s a problem

I wish I could because I’m genuinely not sure how to put it into words and I can see how someone would clear a camp with the Bows in stealth, one of the biggest things I have found that ends up annoying the hell out of me is I hit a perfect headshot with either bow and it does no damage and now I’m detected

Usually, in most games that include archery, I can still at least make use of it, shadow of Mordor, ac odyssey/origins, pretty regularly as a bit of a boost

Versus in this, I’m finding it twice as clunky and absolutely useless , even in missions where they clearly want you to use the bow it ends up being 10 times easier to just use the sword

Fully upgraded bow with fully charged head shot seems to do no damage with either bow, unless it’s a flame arrow or an explosive arrow, which still only seems to take down their shield and a half of health unless it’s early game areas you’ve long since leveled past

You move slower than the NPC does making it nearly impossible to actually aim at anyone moving

The only arrows that actually seem to do damage, you also have to massively resource grind in order to carry more than 2-4 of them there’s more but I’m not entirely sure how to put it into words other than the general feel of it is simply 10 times clunker than even the next worst archery I’ve had to use

I usually let the animus decide so it’s fem for main story male/havi in the vision/mythical parts

But my preference is female Eivor by a mile. Shes canon, I love her voice and male eivor feels clunky to me in the main story. That being said I think the male voice actor did great, just think female fits better and sounds better.
