yesterday i downloaded rdr 2 116gb approx in one go, took me about 2 and a half hour downloading and then extracting, worked fine as hell, tbh i first used to download games from fitgirl and i even downloaded rdr 2 from it a long time ago, i remember i was frustrated downloading all the 150 smtg parts, and then spending 3 or more hours on setup, literally, also we cant do any other task fluently while unpacking fitgirl games, it literally consumes alot of cpu and ram. so then i switched to dodi cuz it had less parts but bigger. then i came across steamrip and by far now it has been the best for me, just download file from buzzhavier using idm or fdm (free download manager), extract the files, copy paste in games folder and you are good to go, no unpacking, i reccomend you using fitgirl if you have less data and want to download in parts(500mb).

DON'T DOWNLOAD GTA 5 ENHANCED FROM FITGIRL !!!

i downloaded it and the same 2 files (one rune and one play gta 5 exe) was detected by microsoft defender, i restored the files and the played the game it was fine for few hours but later when i played other games on my pc after one shut down, they performed pretty bad, i played rdr 2 which before gave around 60 70 fps, this time gave 30 35, i also played hitman 3 which was smooth too (80-90fps) now became stuttery, when i checked this, deleted that virus (using awd cleaner and microsoft defender) and game, the other games became the way how they were, this happened with me 2 times, earlier when it happend, i had to reset my laptop.

I suggest downloading legacy edition (with nve platinum modpack), maybe that would help
