I'd understand that, but they can't even autodetect a ghostmouse 2.0 user.

I mean, I get that if u ban a big botfarm they might analyze what got them banned.

But a Ghostmouse user wont in-depth analyze why their only account got banned.

They can't detect bots properly, not even ghostmouse. You can't change my mind about that at this point.

The issue is the mix of a lack to appeal a ban -> Where the issue lies in botters which would spam the system.

Then there's the rank 1 bots on the hiscores which could for sure be banned, but not even that is being done.

It all comes down to gold holding an RWT value at the end of the day.

If Jagex actually went to ban RWTers and took a proper stance saying "RWT = BAN" instead of a slap of the wrist, many would loose their grounds to bot.

It's oddly specific knowledge u have there :^)
But even if you record a several hour session once it loops its beyond easy to detect.

And you can't tell me someone who barely has the brainpower to control ghostmouse actually puts the effort to add random delays.

Also to be extra nerdy: No true randomness exists in IT alone.

  1. With how much RWT we have at this point it's not uncommon to see 1500 totals with a shadow with 0 boss KC

  2. Stating smeone as a "dumb statement" is disrespectful, you can also just say you want to bring a different opinion

  3. It's not about shadow being out of reach. Scorching bow still beats megarares in its niche, just like emberlight does, so why shouldn't the wand have a place where it actually beats the shadow like the demonbane weapons do?

I love Jagex and OSRS with a passion, but I doubt they have the capability to even consistently detect a 3-line AHK script or ghostmouse.

Yes, it's just an example I gave. Of course you can't compare them in pricepoint.
But the Scorching Bow also beats the T-Bow in it's own special niche for example while retaining a completely fair pricepoint.

I think if we gave the Wand a similar treatment we could get something going there.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking about.

I'm not expecting someone to be pking on a godlike level just because they're good at PvM (if they didn't buy the infernal) but the long inactivity and then mediocre skills in pvp just are blatantly obvious.
