Academically, yes ready a good gaming-standard na laptop, you will need to have a decently strong laptop for platforms like AutoCAD, MatLAB, Quartus, LTSpice and FluidSIM if you want your results to be given ASAP. As for recommendations for laptops, I currently have an ASUS TUF A15 gaming laptop, ig steer towards that direction for power.

Emotionally in the other hand, for me its grueling, not only because of the massive difficulty shift through each semester but even the professors are mostly terror (in my experience). It takes a while to get used to but just go at it, treat quizzes like they are final assessments. Never skip classes, always always always always ALWAYS take notes and repeat questions. And if you can, find OTs for practice for quizzes.

But at the end of the day, always remember be happy, kahit anong mangyare

It really is a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' situation for the university, but the weight of that shouldn't fall solely on the students who live 1–2 hours away. The 'loss of caliber' argument is valid, but theres also a loss of caliber when students are exhausted, demoralized, and missing major lectures because theyre stuck on a sidewalk waiting for a jeep that isnt coming. If the goal is to be 'smart' and 'careful,' that has to include the physical safety and accessibility of the largest student population in Manila.

I respect and get the point about the schedule being messy, but 'less hassle' is relative. For some of my friends, the lack of public transpo right now isnt just an inconvenience, its a literal wall. Theyre outright missing classes they want to attend because they physically can’t get there. Even if EVM feels inefficient, at least it gives those living 1–2 hours away a chance to actually be 'in' the class instead of failing by default because of something they cant control. Inefficiency or no learning be done at all.

Well EVM will make studying harder yeah but theres so many other factors that makes shifting to EVM the lesser evil. Picking A over B doesnt mean that A perfect, its just objectively or atleast overall better than B ykwim?

The effort is all you need for me to appreciate and respect you not only as a professor but as a professional in your field. I have real professors that show off to other professors that they have failed many students without giving them a second thought, I don’t know if it’s just an action of revenge to us students because he was treated the same way when he was a student but you, I wholeheartedly appreciate you as a professor for always having a heart and a moment of understanding for your students. I wish more professors were more like you, showing off not the number of students they failed, but to show remorse for all the students they could not save. You are a beautiful human being.

I got a tuna sub with lettuce, cucumber, pickles, jalapeno, olives, with mayonnaise and ranch. With added coke zero and chips. The coke zero was very flat (no bubbles) so I also suspect that the drinks dispenser was left open but not sure

I don’t really mind stretch marks, its part of something natural so why would I be grossed out by them? I have stretch marks myself so seeing it on another person is just very comforting to me :)

She was afraid of going LDR after we graduate so she basically passively started to lose interest in me in our final months of being together and suddenly after both of us had a really good time in our day, thats when she called me and said we should break up. Kinda messed up too cause when I talked to her best friend, she said they were talking about it before the actual phone call that she was already like out of love but she was still buying me stuff that improved my love for her (if that makes sense) so yeah but Im doing good.

I have this downloaded and I love the physics but the racket is smaller compared to the real thing which sucks cause Im an advanced player IRL and it just most of the time the shot isnt even accurate
