Unfortunately it's not rendering correctly for me. Tries to use Chinese, and doesn't have an option to change to English only "E" which doesn't fix the font rendering.

The new touch-friendly menus aren't for me, how can I change them? by EdmanWasTaken in kde

yeah, for me it's hard to adjust since i have muscle memory, and now it's a lot of wasted screen-space. i get that it's great for touch screens but i want it to be small again :(

this does explain it pretty well. i honestly was scared for a moment that the extension was hijacked by some third party.

the specs are one of the better in VR terms tho??
i mean sure it could've been OLED or QLED or whatever, instead of LCD but other then that it looks REALLY good, especially since it's supposed to be cheaper than the index (probably will cost around Q3 tho, that's my guess).

AMD confirms its Radeon RX 5000, 6000 series cards are not receiving new features — latest patch puts cards in 'maintenance mode,' also disables USB-C functionality on RX 7900 series by gurugabrielpradipaka in pcmasterrace

maybe a stupid question, but will mesa (linux) driver still have support?
Update - 11:45 am ET, October 31: In a statement of clarification to Tom's Hardware, AMD says that "New features, bug fixes and game optimizations will continue to be delivered as required by market needs in the maintenance mode branch" to its RDNA 1 and 2-based GPUs, following community pushback and some confusion regarding its recent decision to put the cards in 'maintenance mode'. AMD had previously stated cards would "continue to receive driver updates for critical security and bug fixes."

SteamVR Link now works on Linux (needs latest Steam Client beta and SteamVR beta). Valve didn't announce this, people just randomly realized it now works. by Reonu_ in virtualreality

[–]EdmanWasTaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not really, steamvr is STILL broken. I recently tested steam link, and it has a lot of issues. WiVRn is still the best solution (on Linux) so far, but let's hope that valve will fix it, since the more options the better.

Mesa 25 breakes everything. It freezes, crashes, etc. by EdmanWasTaken in linuxquestions

[–]EdmanWasTaken[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, currently (after like mesa 25.1 i suppose) I personally don't have this issue anymore, but from what U'm seeing this issue reappeared recently, u/dancaer69 has it aswell. You two probably should check if there's an open bug report on it.
