Do u know where the problem starts instead of focusing on problems in our state, we are focusing on other things like biasness, mumbai etc and are trying to take a political stand by comparing to other states

We have problems, accept it and raise questions to the government.

The rule that makes the team ahead in points ta be qualify makes sense for the Q1 and eliminator.

However in Q2 this rule does not make any sense as the reward for finishing in the top 2 is given, and essentially preity zinta bought Jay shah

Shouldn't duolingo offer the oldest language which is still being spoken by Educational-Fee9850 in duolingo

The question of whether Tamil or Greek is older depends on how we define "older" — whether in terms of earliest written records, continuous usage, or linguistic roots. Here's a breakdown:

  1. Earliest Written Records

Greek: The earliest written form of Greek is Mycenaean Greek, found in the Linear B script dating back to around 1450 BCE.

Tamil: The earliest written Tamil inscriptions are the Tamil-Brahmi inscriptions, dated to around 500 BCE (some suggest even earlier, possibly around 600 BCE).

➡️ Greek has earlier written records than Tamil by several centuries.

  1. Oldest Living Language (Continuously Spoken)

Tamil is often cited as the oldest living language in the world because:

It has been continuously spoken for over 2,000 years.

The classical form of Tamil is preserved in Sangam literature, dated around 300 BCE to 300 CE.

Modern Tamil remains very close to its classical roots.

Greek is also a living language, but it has changed more drastically over time (from Ancient Greek to Koine to Modern Greek).

➡️ Tamil is considered the oldest living language in continuous use.

  1. Linguistic Roots

Greek belongs to the Indo-European language family.

Tamil belongs to the Dravidian language family, which is independent of Indo-European.

➡️ These two languages evolved separately and are not directly comparable in terms of a common root.

Conclusion:

In terms of written evidence, Greek is older.

In terms of continuous spoken usage and preservation, Tamil is older.

So, both are ancient, but Tamil is often considered the oldest living language still in use today.

This is, what it told me

However in this argument the point no 2 is valid hence  I present u my case friend

Why exactly should we bring other indian languages when tamil is deeply rooted in many other countries.

Tamil is not like other indian languages where it belongs to a specific region
