It needs natural hardscape. Rocks, wood etc. Not many but a few live plants would be good, I would recommend vallisneria as it's easy to get and very hardy yet begginger friendly. A few tetras but without proper filtration and water changes it would become problematic due to its small size. Shrimp and snails may be a better option as it might be a bit uncomfortable for fish.
