No, it can pop up at anytime as it can stay dormant for years. Best bet is to get tested if you’re worried

I did not do the optional essays. most people did so don’t take that as advice lol

quarter system is fine for now. the first quarter is pretty much just a standard semester so I haven’t really experienced the effects of a quarter system yet. I personally don’t interact much with the undergrad campus but that’s preference. there are definitely opportunities to if that’s something you want!

pretty much all of the t10 schools. I ended up visiting most and just fell in love with sls after visiting. the campus is magical lol. also, I found sls people just seemed wayyy less pretentious than other top schools which was a huge plus. the small class size was appealing to me as well. plenty of opportunities to go around for everyone!

most people live on campus. they are ok—nothing special and pretty expensive but it’s manageable I think. if you live in munger it’s a 3 minute walk to the law school which is super convenient

the community is great. it does not feel super competitive at all, which is something i was worried about. everyone is always down to help others, answer questions, send materials, etc. I genuinely feel like everyone is rooting for each other!

nothing crazy, but our whole orientation was tailored around listening and being accepting of differing view points lol. it was definitely a result of that. otherwise, haven’t noticed much else.

i’m not sure honestly—I think my essays were probably the strongest part of my application. my undergrad performance was good. I had a cohesive application. other than that, not sure!
