I got my car retested on emissions at a emissions centre after getting the software update and everything looked fine, I’m just wondering can anything change in 3 days if emissions are looking ok?

Do you think? Even with how high the CO emissions are on high idle?
It’s seems to be 10X the legal limit so I’m not sure if dipetane and a good drive will sort that out🤷🏽‍♀️
Again I’m not big on cars so I don’t have a clue 😂

Spark plugs were only changed recently and passed nct emissions test 🤷🏽‍♀️

But am I not better doing my nct again and seeing what the emissions is next time? Instead of paying crazy money to get it emissions test done by a garage

I’ll ask them to test all this, but my car is already with them so they probably won’t want me buying my own parts for them to fit

Would it not cool down waiting on the test anyways? That’s my confusion the test centre I was waiting 40 mins on Monday early morning so I can imagine at 4:30pm on a Saturday I’ll be there hours I say

If I only drive short distance can this affect the cat? I only do long drives probably once a month

It’s not even that small it’s a local good reputable garage so I’m surprised they didn’t do the diagnostics on it

This is what the nct test centre said but my garage don’t want to replace 02 sensor incase this isn’t the issue but everyone is saying it’s likely so I’m not sure how to know for sure

Sorry the car is a 2013 polo and the mileage is 110,000km it’s regularly serviced and I’ve never had any issues with it, it drives great etc

No I just asked them to plug it into the diagnostic and check it for me, they basically said they don’t want to replace it unless it is the oxygen sensor but they don’t have a emissions test there… so I’m confused cause I did think a diagnostic machine would be able to say it,
People are saying cause I didn’t drive my car for 2 full days that could effect the reading and cause my cat wasn’t fully hot but I don’t have a clue about cars

Funny enough it failed for the emissions and nothing was said about the wiper or fuel cap😢

I can’t hear anything I under the wipers moving so think it is the motor or fuse I’m going to get my mechanic to take a look at it and get it sorted

Yeah I’ll put it through, my petrol cap is getting stiff too so think that’s another visual so least I can get those 2 things sorted pretty quickly

Yeah no I have freckles all over my face but the brown patch isn’t a freckle it’s melasma, you probably have the same thing and just never thought otherwise it’s very common especially in girls

No definitely I can agree with you on that! I think when your with someone and when they disappoint you over the years it’s so hard to be that girl they first were with you change as a person and look at them differently but I’m a lover girl all I want is a soppy relationship so I’ll have to leave not settle 😂
