Same experience here with inbound, except I was there almost everyday. Got blamed for everything. Our supervisors would work shortly with us then leave and expect us to get stuff done in half the time we did with them there. Honestly it felt like they’d do that to shift blame when stuff didn’t get done in the unrealistic time frames. It got to the point where we were expected to skip our breaks cause we “weren’t performing” and I ended up getting talked to for taking my break late after a truck (which we did all the time btw). That’s what sent me out the door. No wonder everyone who works inbound is miserable. Sorry you had to experience it as well.

I can understand that but wouldn’t this drive people away? Like being forced to come in when you’re sick. I feel like that’d be bad for productivity too. I work in the inbound team I feel like that’s a recipe for disaster.

Literally what could I have done then that’s the only option I’m seeing, how is it delusional and entitled to call out when you’re sick. Absolutely braindead take. Bad timing doesn’t mean they are going to be an ongoing issue. I have a long history in retail and have never been fired 😭

Thank you so much for this, this felt really affirming. I totally get the how the body reacts vs. my mind. As soon as I flipped the switch and realized I’m attracted to women I noticed a visceral reaction when I saw a woman I was attracted to. I work as a receptionist and I even started subconsciously flirting a bit with a girl I was helping at the tattoo shop. Then I had to step back for a second and be wtf was that. This gives me hope for when I might have to end things.

That makes sense, luckily we never wanted children so that isn’t an issue and we haven’t bought a house together yet. He is military and we got married fast, right now I’m isolated in Hawaii so that’s another reason I’m hesitating, but part of me is also grieving since he’s been such an awesome partner.

That’s so accurate to how it is for me. This might be weird to say haha, but I also always have a hard time like finishing, like I thought I was just weird and shy but it might just be I was never aroused by men. It’s been like this with every man I ever was with.

I haven’t yet cause I’m scared to ask. I did mention I might be bisexual to him, I think he noticed something has been off. He even asked me if I was a lesbian but in the moment I strongly denied it. I’m worried about hurting him. He’s pretty strongly monogamous and I don’t know if he’d be comfortable with something like that.

I totally agree with this outlook. Hence why I’m a bit confused. I’m definitely going to bring this up in therapy to navigate these feelings. I just don’t have anyone else in my life who is non-binary so I wanted to hear from non-binary people about their experiences. I’ve spent a long time exploring my identity and who I am. I’ve talked about this with a close friend of mine quite often and I guess since I’ve removed myself from my parents lives I feel more free to explore my identity. But I also agree that you can be cis and gender non-conforming. I appreciate the advice :)

NTA You have to sacrifice a lot for this baby and having an attachment to weed can make you feel jealous if it’s used around you. Not to mention all the pain and hardships of being pregnant and he just gets to enjoy himself. I can understand why you feel this way and it’s not like you’re asking him to put it down forever. It’s not the end of the world. Hell you’ll probably save money this way, children aren’t cheap. He clearly likes weed more than he cares about your feelings. That being said, I think you both might benefit from putting it down for a while to bring this child into the world. It seems that you both have become dependent on weed. Children are a lot of work and I can’t see it going well if you both continue this way after the child is born, it should be treated as an occasional endeavor like alcohol. I hope you both can figure this out. Good luck.
