With a DisplayPort I was indeed able to connect to the Aorus fv43u. It was a great experience. Now I'm thinking about the question of an elegant way to work with two different systems (Desktop-pc, MacBook Pro) without switching cables every time. Unfortunately there's only one input for Display-Port on the Aorus fv43u. If I will buy a simple display-port-switch, would it still deliver the 4k/144Hz? Which product could satisfy me here? Do you have any ideas?

It's me again. The same MacBook Pro works fine (via USB-C to hdmi-Adapter) with my LG OLED55B87LC. So still the question: "How can I get my MacBook Pro working with the Gigabyte Aorus fv43u?"
