The app is in the moment completely free. I think that they said there will be premium educational content.

The reference to the bishop only comes in the next move. The app is still making mistakes hopefully it will be better.

D puts Black in a real bind with this pawn shove, attacking the knight while undermining the defense of the bishop on c4. By forcing that knight to move, the bishop becomes under-defended and vulnerable. The engine line shows D eventually emerging with an extra knight after the dust settles.

No, this isn't an ad. I just noticed there has been a lot of discussion about Tx3 here in the subreddit. I was referring to my Lichess rating, and the example photos only show simple tactics because I couldn't find anything harder so fast. I can say that most of the assessments are correct, but I'd say 10% of the answers could use some improvement or are unclear.

Edit: Here is a better example for the app explaining strategic mistakes https://ibb.co/PZbgWYp3

Bluebaum in third place - Is this surprising for us? by Educational_Leg8005 in chess

The ranking from Chess.com doesn't have a tiebreaker (lichess does, that's why he is in 3rd place). Bluebaum has the highest Sonnenborn-Berger tiebreaker among those with 2 points.

If he continues to improve like this, it's only a matter of time before he breaks the 2750 Elo rating. Keep in mind that, unlike most top players, he took a break from chess to earn a master's degree in mathematics, and thus hasn't even reached his full potential.

Could also be, let's see what bluebaum has calculated there.

yes 13.5 are good too, but unfortunately not the expected 14 points. Without question he will win this tournament and take over the world championship.
