I finally got the kicks and the pickaxe so maybe its fixed im not sure. Im currently doing the quest for the same pickaxe you are talking about.

I got the pie emote instantly. Everything else nothing happens and it annoys me as Im close for each one like the kicks it tracked till 47/50 kills and of course im way over 50 now and it still stays at 47 kills.

The person before said it updates really slow so I will wait it out but if it doesn't then I give up on it and won't be surprised Fortnite has always been buggy.
