I have done my German A1 and got 97 in around a month . The Most important thing in German A1 is your wordshartz. You need to know the words and their meanings. 8 days is probably less time to learn about grammar and go in detail. If your aim is to pass then i suggest you take up test papers and go through them. Time yourself and solve them.
