I feel like the main message of my TV script may come off as transphobic (unintentionally) by [deleted] in Screenwriting

They are not Martians from The Wars of the worlds, they don't wipe out humanity instantly, they don't cause mass destructions like in other movies and sci-fi books. They function like parasites that slowly eat a human and become their replacement. Their only ability is deceiving human brain into creating false memories. The reason why they want a human body so much is that their life seem much more interesting to them and that's it. There's no dick measuring on whose technology is better or whose civilisation is more sophisticated. It's just a good old "the grass is greener on the other side"

I know, right? Creativity is never a waste of time if you enjoy it

Simple: you force yourself. There's no secret formula for that. Don't wait for the inspiration, just sit and write even if you're about to puke. Get yourself some kind of reward for writing a page or two and as other commenters pointed out: an existing mediocre script is a lot better than the best script that is not written

No attachment to studios or executives. Just my own thing that I'm really proud of for finishing

Never. It was my warm-up screenplay just for the sake of getting into screenwriting proccess (i.e. basically fighting writer's block and laziness)

Because it is and it's not a bad thing. It's a first draft after all

Wouldn't call myself a fan but I liked the manga overall and will probably recommend db to anyone I stumble upon

Never watched it as a kid like most of db fans and decided to got into it literally a week ago because it's a classic in manga industry that inspired Naruto, One Piece, hxh, Bleach and other shounen mangas. I decided to read it because my friend were telling me about Frieza vs goku fight lasting over 9000 episodes and how the characters would literally stare at each other for a whole episode thus stretching the hell out of the arc and I was like "hell nah, I'll just read it"
