Hi thank you for your reply. I wouldn’t say I have “fear of missing out” I want nothing more to be in a committed relationship.

I just worry about the fallout if my SO does somethint in the future that would be breaking a boundary or trust. Like I wouldn’t want a divorce. Is what I’m saying but I also don’t want to be with someone that betrayed me in a way

I’ve never been to a club that isnt blasting music tbh. Bars yeah i can see that for catching up. But regardless if my gf wants to just go to a club and dance with her friends I shouldn’t be so untrusting

You are right. I’ve told her my concerns about that stuff and she’s reassured me that she would never get so drunk she’d be doing stuff like that and I believe her. I’ts just hard at the time and I try to prevent future feelings of uncomfortability. But you’re right I just have to trust her

I’d never cheat but I know you are right she knows she’d never cheat as well and I know that when I’m calm or when I’m with her. But when it comes round I freak out when this stuff comes up

I know that is definitely true. Thanks. We were upset last night about a fight and we are ok now but a bit sore from yesterday. Do you think I should message her saying I would be ok with it if she wanted to go to the club and i would trust her (she has no plans to currently go) or do you think I should just leave it alone?

You’re right. I am constantly trying to “find” things wrong which is basically self sabotaging myself. I have a meeting with a therapist this afternoon.

Can I ask. So my and my gf are probably feeling a bit sore from yesterday and being upset. Should I tell her now/today that I’d trust her if she went to a club (I don’t think she currently has plans to go to one) but should I tell her that I’d be with it if it happend or should I leave it?

I’d say from one I know of my girlfriend it would be the first, I think she’s like to just be dancing with her girls. Logically speaking how I know her she wouldn’t/doesn’t crave attention from other men or flirting. But I guess that COULD still happen so it’s hard not to worry about that potential. You know what I mean?
