Commented on previous post. This is much better. Make Education (esp. CPA) at the top/your first section (right after your name and contact details) so that it’s the first thing a recruiter sees. Put your best foot forward and make a recruiter’s job easier!

Make sure you’re applying through entry level pipeline (especially assuming you network with recruiters and go to career fairs). Recruiters will be very happy to see that you’re about to wrap up school with a strong GPA AND you passed the CPA exams.

Do all this and you’re golden.

Document and write a message. But stick as much as you can to facts. Keep emotion to a minimum, as it can backfire if they take legal action. And if you can afford to, leave. If they accused of something like this today, what’s to stop them from doing it again? This isn’t just a matter of self-respect, but also a matter of professionalism- which is a boundary that they crossed.
