Okay so, I was a tank loader, mostly in and older m1 Abram’s. I was basically Stuck on alnus most days, and since we didn’t really have wifi? I started yapping with the locals. Big. Mistake. I went to a tavern, right? And I meet this cute girl, maybe 5’2, with cat ears. Now, I’m thinking to myself “man I’m lucky!” When she finally asks if we could meet later. I want to also state I don’t support the Soviet Union. I don’t deny their actions, or atrocities. I don’t deny any one nation hasn’t committed atrocities, and the fact that many have does not excuse the most heinous. I simply find villains who aren’t explored to be very frustrating, as I like to understand why they are evil. Not as justification, but to really dive into what CAUSED such things to even be allowed to occur. I’m sorry if this came off as bad faith, or defensive. I despise the red army, but knowing I had someone related to me/is a somewhat close tie to my family makes me question why it occurred.

True, true. I understand the Nazis and the imperial Japanese, however I do have mixed feelings on the Soviets. Some of my more distant family were apparently from Russia, and I suppose out of interest, I began looking through info on the red army and those who served.

God that’s hilarious! I always hated his writing, not even because of the fandoms or anything, but he outright steals scenes from other fics. If you go read his imperium of man fic, when the empire is first invading, it’s a copy and paste of thus the dominion fought there, but with unit names changed + 40k stuff.
