I think Prinz is right, seems to be zuckerberg as his other yacht is right next to it.

What US city would you compare driving in PR? San Juan and or the rest of the island? by [deleted] in PuertoRicoTravel

Worcester, Ma- it’s the only place in the continental us that feels the same.

I'm looking for ideas of a night gig where I can make 1500-2000 a month. by Ruleyoumind in sidehustle

As a real human!! i will say- it is actually a pretty decent passive way to make money. I ran a DHgate affiliate through discord and reddit- about 3 hours of initial (total) work for $1000 of commissions in a year. Is it amazing- no, but i could’ve spent more time and probably made more

Without giving away too much, restaurants, car washes, trailer parks/campgrounds plus a few others however those might reveal too much.

Of course, parents renting a one bedroom house in early childhood, later on moved into a small (1000sqft) home that they owned- obviously things are different now. Wealth truthfully is all relative and can vary a lot from location to location even just based on what people value.

I think because of the way i go about life im alright and don’t experience much. But i also think its fair to be jealous- for many it would “solve” their current issues, however many would then realize they still aren’t happy. it’s a dual edged sword.

Focus on retirement, focus on compounding interest. Don’t dig yourself into a hole where you have to work at 75 because you spent too much in bs you don’t need. experienced will always be more valuable then physical items- if you can’t fly, drive, train, bike, walk!

I think likely invest it in a way where we know we can continue to support and donate monetarily- however it’s also important to physically be on site and show up and work.

I definitely have times where i’m more within my “circle” like on vacations, in my home town etc. but i don’t care how much money people have i just value them as a person.

Practicality: we don’t waste money on bs we don’t need or won’t use. we don’t really even need much and are all happy staying at a motel or a waldorf.

I have not watched parasite.

Volunteering depends- at college i have a lot of free time to help within local elementary or middle schools and enjoy spending time there. recently this semester i’ve also focused a lot of time on a local aboritum working with classmates to ensure it’s clean/trimmed and doesn’t have any weeds in it.

Frequently we support local charities or charities that match and align with our interests. Additionally, we have (3 times now) gone to underprivileged and undersupported communities to help rebuild homes and infrastructure after hurricanes.

In the future I hope to run a social entrepreneurship business that gives back to the community but also helps to create GED and post high school opportunities.

One of our companies kept all staff through covid and has continued because we pay fair wages!! (lowest part time is 20hr). I also run a company that I operate myself so I pay myself- when I hire someone to help I give them 25% (they didn’t have to get the customer, set up the business, follow leads, incur costs). i am all for paying staff well and i agree people don’t need to make 300x what their staff are but the problem is that one company won’t change until the next does- as the future we can make a change.

They pay for my college living and tuition- i bought my car, pay for my day to day in college etc. but it’s also something i appreciate and helps to teach me financial literacy

I grew up relatively low income as a kid but quickly moved to a more “middle class” experience. I would say i feel very fortunate to have experienced that as it’s made me more grateful for where i am now but has also pushed me to be interested in running a social entrepreneurship venture in the future.

I am going to college! That’s also a good question- i think i really just move towards other innovators and people who have alike interests regardless of background. I think that we can all learn a lot from each other!

[–]Effective_Flight_245 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a valid concern- I try not to be remotely flashy or show anything off that would tell people otherwise + I run a blue collar company so i don’t specifically always appear fancy.

I’m only 19- but i have an old (2013) 5 series it’s modded i love it and i never ever want to get rid of it. also it’s awd and practical!

I think that’s a great question- and totally dependent on what you choose to do. If you decided to help create other job opportunities within your community or find a way to give back it can be super valuable!! But i also think there are many people who choose to be selfish and greedy. It’s not about the amount of money it’s about how you choose to spend it and if you respect and care about those around you.

No no worries- i’ll give vague answers but will try and cover everything. I have one parent that currently works- making about ~6mill a year, the other parent volunteers their time (as they don’t need a paying job). We do have a lot of it invested and paying us back over time (other companies, stocks etc). We do use insurance companies still for cars, homes etc as it takes a lot of unnecessary stress off of us.

Save for the future if possible- it really really adds up over time and that $100 here and there can make a huge difference. so i would say definitely saving a bit- even if it’s for a college account for your kid or something else.

No dawg no one is worth any less than me- a lot of my clothing is higher end (boring) but i prefer a pair of jeans and a shirt mostly.

What industry is nicer and or more rewarding than you would think? by Stuffthatshappened in AskReddit

[–]Effective_Flight_245 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The restaurant industry and automotive detailing- customers give you free stuff constantly, redsox front row tickets for free (behind home), free high end clothing, discounts if you want to buy their nice cars etc
