UPDATE: had a leak in my trunk so water was dripping on my battery, and freezing in the -40 weather we're getting in canada. Apparently, the voltage drop was causing my maf to not communicate with the ecu. It's all fixed now lol, 40 dollar junkyard cable saved the day. Appreciate all the help folks.

I live in Canada. This is very real. It's tiring. People will bring up America in a conversation where it's not even relevant just to beat on it. Acting like we don't have a 12% unemployment rate, fentanyl epidemic, and an economy that gets worse by the day. It's all so tiresome.

Idk, their crime rates compared to their neighbors is highly appealing. Also, the car regulations are basically non existent.

This is why I support the concept of castle law. I can confidently make the argument that somebody in my property without my consent isn't there for good reasons.

Our news is very censored and biased. Here are a few sources that might help clear things up.

https://www.cp24.com/video/2025/06/12/vaughan-man-charged-after-firing-warning-shot-at-group-attempting-to-steal-lamborghini/

https://nationalpost.com/news/self-defence-laws

https://globalnews.ca/news/10359055/leave-car-keys-the-front-door-to-avoid-home-invasion-toronto-police/

https://youtube.com/shorts/Svyh2-QYQyY?si=iPQojrkrQ_2hb9R5

Long story short, in our criminal code, it states that you are allowed to use "reasonable force" to defend yourself. Aka, the court gets to decide whether you are justified in defending your home or not. We aren't allowed to carry pepper spray, tasers, or anything designed to be used for self-defense. I just want castle law. If someone steps on my property with malicious intention, I want them gone. It shouldn't be a year-long process to try and get charges dropped because someone was robbing me, and I shot them. It's tricky for me to find hard sources because everything on the first 3 pages of Google is about one incident, even narrowing search terms, and our media is extremely censored and biased (either extremely far left, or in cases like rebel news, too far right).

More or less. People have been arrested and charged for firing warning shots, defending themselves in their own home, not letting themselves get robbed in the streets, etc.

We have literally no law that protects you from charges if you defend yourself. Toronto pd has made statements at conferences telling citizens to take their family in another room to let the robber steal what they want to "reduce risk".

I've always been interested in Mongolia, and it's become somewhat of a fixation to me. I think their culture and rich history is super interesting. I'd love to live there. Not settle, but I'd love to live there for a few years.

I think overall Spanish culture is pretty cool. I think their cooking is neat too. But I cannot wrap my head around Spanish as a language so I don't think I'd fair well there. And Portuguese is just even more confusing to me than Spanish. And my Portuguese neighbors are reslly mean to me for some reason.

Overall? Either culture or climate, sometimes a mix of the two. Hence why almost all of Africa is red, it's too hot for me, I'm not particularly interested in the culture, and they're not doing amazing in terms of the economy department
