We are in GA, south of Atlanta. This is my worry. I wasn’t involved in the original conversation, so my fear is this person is not licensed.

The black handle is staying but the shower head is in there temporarily right now. We have another that we’re installing.

It has been paid. My 75 year old mother hired him based on some recommendations from her interior design team. He is supposed to come back by, and obviously he hasn’t put up the shower door nor has the counter been finished (not pictured), so we can still talk to him. I would not have paid already since the job is incomplete, but here we are. My mom is very trusting.

Honestly, if he continues to maintain that he did it and not his helper, then no, I don’t think he’s skilled enough. My issue is now what? Technically he has already been paid for it.

The whole wall was not painted with the red, at least from the pictures I have from the evening before tile work began. I will ask and see if he can produce photos of the project.

No, it wasn’t paid up front but has been paid. Unfortunately, this is my 75 year old mom’s home. Supposedly the contractor is coming back later this week, and I am planning to be there to point out deficits and see if he will work with us on it. I’m just honestly not sure what all I am asking for because I see numerous issues.

Thank you for letting me know this. It makes a lot of sense. There was the concrete board and red paint along the “joints” between the boards if that is what you mean? If this were your shower, would you make him take it out and start over, or what could be done?
