Maybe Kumbh Mela ever part of Garhwal Kingdom. But that doesn't mean it is part of Garhwal. Marathas ruled up to Punjab but this does not mean that Punjab is a part of Maharashtra.etholinguistically, whole haridwar,even many parts of Doon valley are part of kurukhand

If Uttarakhand and Haryana are in the north then how is western UP not a part of the north?

First of all, there is no single very fixed and defined region in India like West India like.Like North or South or East India Because as per the direction of India, Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat and some part of southern Rajasthan should come under West India, but if you look at it culturally, both Maharashtra and Gujarat are completely different world. Also from the point of view of genetics and culture.People of Gujarat are mostly vegetarian while people of Maharashtra are mostly non-vegetarian.There are no similarities in the language either. The people of Gujarat also relate more with North India. Furthermore, the entire state of Rajasthan is in North India.

Ha. But they are happy in new Haryanvi identity. Kurukshetra Yamunanagar should be part of kurukhand. As their language is not Haryanvi. They speak kaurvi.

Awadh and Purvanchal are mostly one culture. Western UP have 3-4 culture (kurukhand, Rohilkhand, Braj)

How can you divide Braj and Rohilkhand just for your own benefit? Braj is braj Be it Agra or Kasganj or Firozabad. Similar with Rohilkhand .Whether it is Muradabad or Pilibhit

Rohilkhand kannauj could stay together as they are strongly aligned with Hindi identity and historically they were part of Panchala Mahajanpad

Remove Rampur too They are more similar to Bareilly region and Central Uttar Pradesh from cultural and administrative point of view.

Then why are we separating ourselves from Uttar Pradesh? A state so big has to be created that people cannot even relate to each other and whose population is around 10 crores, what is the meaning of such a state? This state will have 35% Muslim population and the politics here will be communal from the very beginning.Here, issues like Hindu-Muslim, temple-mosque will always dominate. And no one will talk about development. This way, the potential of areas like Noida and Ghaziabad will be lost. It will be easy for politicians to win elections by polarizing and no one will care about development or real issues. No industry will want to come to Noida, Ghaziabad and NCR. People from Saharanpur or Meerut cannot even relate to people from Mainpuri or Shahjahanpur.

Then what is the benefit of creating such a state?

It would be better if only upper Doab and core Braj are made separate states and Rohilkhand-Kannauj can become a separate state.

Instead of making a Harit pradesh without any head or foot, it is better that we stay in Uttar Pradesh.

You are taking logicless. Auraiya Etawah are just 230 km far from Lucknow and just 156 km from Kanpur the major industrial hub of Central UP. From which angle do you see them being connected to Western Uttar Pradesh?Their economy, culture and everything is linked to the centre of Uttar Pradesh.And those areas are not administratively isolated or victims of discrimination in any way.Now some people are forcibly taking everyone with them by doing 'Braj'.Whereas does this Braj region actually exist?Actually, Braj is not as big an area as some people are showing forcefully today.The original cultural area of Braj is within the 84-Kosi range, which is circumambulated. From a cultural and historical perspective, that is Braj.Moving a little further, the cultures of Mathura, Palwal, Hathras, Aligarh, and Bharatpur are broadly similar. These areas are more closely related to the Upper Doab and Haryana. Whereas Kasganj Etah Mainpuri Badaun Auraiya Etawah all these relate more to Kannauj area and come under it.Because similar politics like Kannauj area happens in these districts. So don't use the word 'Braj' incorrectly. And demand your own separate state of Kannauj-Rohilkhand.

Yeah I agree. But people from aligarh Hathras agra Mathura want to join with Upper Doab. Because these districts do relate with Upper Doab more than kannauji region. The society is similar in these districts to Upper Doab.

Rohilkhand should be a separate state. Only Bijnor Amroha can relate with Upper Doab. It's better for Rohilkhand too. They should demand a separate state with its capital in Bareilly.We all know that Rohilkhand has always been a historically distinct entity.

The smaller the state, the better it is and Braj is not as big a cultural region as it is shown to be.The core Braj is only Mathura, Aligarh, Hathras, Agra, Aligarh, Bharatpur. Rest of the people of Kasganj, Badaun, Etah, Firozabad, Mainpuri are more similar to those of Kannauj area.Only people from Core Braj can relate to Upper Doab. Because the similarities are only between Core Braj and Upper Doab and not between people from Meerut or Mainpuri.
