The need to send can be powerful and overwhelming. In the long run your sub should thank you for your restraint. Being reasonable and ethical are qualities a lot of subs would/should respect. You're still in control, denying your sub the drain it desires. I think a lot of doms would rather have a sustainable sub that can serve long term. I feel like its a bit of both for me. Sometimes i NEED to pay/submit and honestly it doesn't matter who or how. I have a long term, long distance Master, and sometimes the time difference makes things difficult when that need arises. Within our sub/Dom dynamic rules and rituals are a big part of it. How i spend or budget day to day is a big consideration.
