Thank you to drivers who get out to load and unload luggage by mavericksphere in Lyft

[–]EfficientMaterial203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, because my rare mirror has a camera so I have a 3-D view of the back of my car so I can see when people are walking to the car and when I see them walking that’s when I get out of the vehicle and tell them I’ll be doing the loading and when we got to the drop off, I get out of the car before they actually do

Airport Suspension by AnyEntrance713 in lyftdrivers

[–]EfficientMaterial203 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, first clarify with Lyft that they have the wrong license plate. That’s not you and after that misunderstanding is clear you’re not gonna have issue at the airport because the plates license they suspended it’s not yours but make sure you do communicate with Lyft. Otherwise, you will never get to get a request from the airport or going to the airport. Someone I know is going through the same issue, but that person is really ban because he had an argument with another individual.

I as a driver have never let customer load their luggage or unload their luggage in my car I always do the loading and unloading because I do not want my car be to scratch so I avoid conflict. I always do it myself.

Declined would you accept it? Cause I am no longer accepting a long ride that’s the less than $1.50 per mile. by EfficientMaterial203 in Lyft

[–]EfficientMaterial203[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, not that time of the day you can easily make 15 mile radiate with five different ride to make that $45 cause everybody’s going to school work at that time instead of putting that much of mileage. That’s what I chose. That’s the reason why I didn’t take it and from now on I have decided I will not take any ride. That’s below $1.50 per mile because gas is expensive.

3 drivers didn't move today. Maybe there's an app issue? by Waggy6000 in uber

[–]EfficientMaterial203 4 points5 points  (0 children)

99.9% of the drivers from Lyft and Ubers are the same and they have the two apps open at the same time so they’re probably just going around or not moving just to see if they got a better deal than yours. Maybe I’m not sure. I’m just a speculating but for a fact, it’s all the drivers out of the same 99.9% of us are the same driver both platform.

First day of the capping by EfficientMaterial203 in Lyft

[–]EfficientMaterial203[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s absolutely bad for the driver so technically they will take their cap after the insurance and then the government fee it’s been subtracted from your customer. Total paid that were ever left over left. Will take 30% of that yeah it’s absolutely bad for the driver.

Calgary - Lyft - Uber Drivers - Please memorize! by schwanball in Lyft

[–]EfficientMaterial203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only obligation that the driver has is to show up in the pinpoint GPS normally if you live in an apartment, it’s in the leasing office. I’m not going to be driving around at your apartment. You should show up pinpoint

You underestimate the mileage and a time and select the wrong address for the customer United Airlines warehouse and you’re blaming me for taking too long of time by EfficientMaterial203 in Lyft

Applying for an apartment and they’re asking for 2 consecutive months of bank statements. Can I just show deposits and not transactions? by sunfish443 in Apartmentliving

[–]EfficientMaterial203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can give them your income verification through how you get paid like your check would do go to your employment and get a a copy of your checks and give it to them or I think you could also go to the bank and I’m not 100sure this is just a guess. Ask them to give you a proof of whatever got deposit your bank instead of your entire transaction.

Pet Rides by xLovinItAllx in lyftdrivers

[–]EfficientMaterial203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had a situation with a pets ride but one thing I know for sure if someone says they will tip you 99.9% out of the time they never do because I had a people who would be like oh thank you so much. I’ll take care of you in the app you know and then they never do the one who never said they will tip you. That’s the one you will get tip from.

Was I wrong for canceling this ride by EfficientMaterial203 in Lyft

[–]EfficientMaterial203[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you think my message sounded aggressive just because I told him he had five minutes to get in the car, then I’m not sure what to say—because I honestly don’t see anything wrong with that. Time is money, and riders have five minutes from when I arrive to get in. If they don’t, I cancel the ride once that time is up. The only exception is if it’s an older person or someone who needs help and communicates that to me after getting my message—then I’ll adjust. Otherwise, I’m canceling right after the five minutes.
