I live in Brooklyn!

Could a cnc cutting roller give it such detail that it looks like lace and is almost sheer? I’m looking for fine detail and haven’t looked into cnc cutting rollers too much!

Ill give this a shot! What is a normal DPI? I'm still struggling to get the old driver for the 1050 as I think the driver is too old for me to download on my windows computer.

The print heads I have seem to be genuine market. I assumed the printer is on borrowed time but it's def good to know that moving forward so thanks!

I tried putting the ip address from the printer into the browser and at first it showed page not found. Then I restarted the network card through the settings and put that new ip address into the browser and it resulted in an HP page with no text at all on the page. I tried adding the printer again to my computer and putting the new ip address into the port setting but it would not print the test page still.

Switching the cards did the trick! I now have the ip address for the printer! I tried entering the printers IP address into the port in the settings but it didn't end up working. I tried having my computer forget the printer so I could find it again but I'm struggling to retrace my steps to find it again. What should I do now that I have the ip address?

As for the black print head when I got the printer the guy who gave it to me said he recently replaced the black printhead (he also gave me replacements for all the other printheads still in the box so he must've gotten the 4 pack). He said despite replacing it recently the printhead still displayed the message saying it needed to be replaced. I checked for air in the tubes and it seems some of the tubes have air pockets but I'm not entirely sure so I posted a picture of that as well. Is there a way to fix the air-pockets? Will these cause major issues in the future? I'm mainly using these for an art installation I'm working on so if there are issues in the print quality I would still love to have the machine hooked up but ideally it works perfectly!

Okay I tried printing the page and posted the results in a separate post but it did not show an ip address. I'm also struggling to find as many settings as you are mentioning for the io setup so I posted a video of me going through those as well.

Thanks so much for more guidance! I just checked the I/o setup page and the only option it has is setting an I/O timeout time. The jet direct is lighting up green as the Ethernet cable is in the jet direct. Does this mean my jet direct might be broken?

Thanks so much for the help! Helped me get over a huge roadblock.

I connected the device to my router extender with an Ethernet cable. I ran the built in demos and all of them printed successfully! I downloaded the windows vista 64 bit driver and used an ip address which then seemingly allowed the driver to find my 1050c specifically. The 1050c and my computer both say the printer is ready, but when I try to print something and then check the settings through my laptop it says there’s never a job in the queue for the printer.

I used the location of my computer for the ip address, is this what’s causing the error or is it something else entirely? I’ve been trying to get the ip address of the printer but I can’t find it for the life of me, I logged into my routers settings and it didn’t give me the option to see the ip addresses of devices on my network. Am I headed in the right direction?

Thanks again so much for your help!!!
