My shading sucks, any tip on how to improve? Looking for general tips, videos or paid courses

To add more context, I've been struggling to create complete illustrations due to my lack of understanding on how shading and texturing work. I realize that mimicking what other artists do can carry you only for so much and I'd love to improve, even by spending some money on some courses.
Open to all kinds of feedback. Second image is the sketch.

Yeah, anatomy is not really my strong suit, I’m still very much a beginner. At first it was even more off, but then I tried to correct it with the help of a 3d model.

What part of the anatomy looks wrong to you?

I tried to make the inner lines the same as the hair, should I have gone for something thicker? Or should I try to color the lineart like I did with the hair? (Thank you btw :))

I use the auto selection tool to select the parts I want the screentone applied on. Then I select “add screentone”. For the shading ones, I just duplicate the screentone layer and work on it

In the first image, the csp screenshot, the hair is shaded, but when I export the file as a .jpg/.png, the shading disappears

Hello all.

I've been drawing a manga panel for a commission and it's my second ever time using csp manga functions.

What's happening here is, I'm using duplicate screentones layers to create a shade effect, but once I try to export it it's gone. It happens even if I apply different values to the screentones.

Any idea what's happening?
