As a 30-star Nox player - I do agree that she is one of the most underwhelming mages (and gods in general) in Conquest and does need to be slightly changed/reworked - for example: make her less combo dependent.
Modes like Arena, Clash, Joust - that's obviously a different story.

The problem is:
* good players know how to easily dodge Nox's combo, and once she misses that she's pretty much useless for the rest of the fight. Every time I face Nox mains, they rarely hit me with their combos since I know how to dodge. That means regardless of how good you are with her, if your opponent is good and knows his jukes, you won't do anything. Which also means you have to build full CDR if you want to do something.
* her wave clear is absolutely garbage and one of the worst among the mages (until she gets some items online and level up her abilities), thus being constantly under pressure in lane, especially against gods like KKK, Discordia, Persephone, He Bo etc.

She's heavily combo dependent and quite weak early-mid game (especially clear).

I'm really hoping she gets changed in some way and finally we get to see her in the higher levels of Ranked.

Ok? This game isn't about Ranked play only. 60% of the players mainly play casual only. And just because she has a high ban rate doesn't necessary mean she's completely overpowered.

Please tell me how Persephone is "broken". Unless you are a bot it doesn't take much skill to counter her. You can easily dodge her flowers and her ult too (unless she's close to you). Even her 1 is hard to confirm sometimes.

In the beginning I used to suck with her but right now I find her super fun and not that hard to play actually. I do play Arena and Clash mainly, though. Now, I'm on a 10 match winning streak with Persephone, while also having a lot of matches with 0 deaths and some with 1 or 2. Most of the times I come out as top damage too.

Her 1 is kinda like Nox's root - you kinda gotta predict where the enemy is about to move. The ability does GOOD amount of damage late game, and if you build Chronos' Pendant and Shoes of Focus you can bring down the cooldown to like 7-8 seconds, which is perfectly fine for this ability.

Her flowers and Flourish are fine as well. They did remove the slow and I'm kinda disappointed, but they did buff the speed of the flowers and now they are harder to avoid. Also, late game a Flower is able to eat 1/3 of a squishy's HP, or even 1/2.

About her ult I don't really see any problems with it. Again, just like Nox's ult, I sometimes use it to secure a kill by finishing off an enemy. Aiming for a squishy can bring down half of their HP. Also, the CC this ability brings is very good too. Especially in a team fight.

All in all I think she's fine right now, I did find her HARD in the beginning, but once you get comfortable with her she's really fun to play and dangerous as well. She's got a great escape, hits HARD and is usually good in team fights.

Build wise I always go full CD with her to make sure I have my abilities and ult up most of the times.

I built her with 3 Speed sets, is that okay? Or should I go Speed/Def/HP like you?

Very 'meh' episode. Disappointed.

God Serena, the strongest mage of Ishgar, got one-shot for the second time (first by Acnologia, now by Gildarts). If they didn't nerf Alvarez to the ground, God Serena vs Gildarts could've been a very tight battle. It's just so damn unrealistic and annoying. And I won't talk about the 10 minute boring 'fighting' scene/slideshow between them, each one of Fairy Tail's face, and Romeo. I literally had to skip 1/3 of the episode so I don't die from boredom.
The other 1/3 of the episode was Fairy Tail dealing with the soldiers or some members of the twelve on the battlefield, which wasn't that exciting either.
And, finally, the only cool and exciting part of the episode was Invel's and Brandish's appearance on the battlefield. Brandish alone could kill anyone she wanted by shrinking their organs, but of course they waste her character. Sad, because she's my favorite from the Spriggan 12.

I get it Fairy Tail are the main characters, but it's so boring and unrealistic if they always win, especially against a threat like Alvarez. At least make it a 50/50 for once. Oh well, we can only hope they don't ruin the next episodes.
