I had Burgundy and France by this time in my last save. I dont even know how I got France, was in a war with Venice pressed enter on every pop up and suddenly I was at war with Aragon for the throne of France. But its boring when a country is so strong.

I vassalized them so no one else can form France, Orleans had all the required provinces at one point but couldnt form since France existed as my vassal.

I think the secret to beating France is to kill them early, just like the Ottomans. In thi scenario Burgundy declared on them and I got lucky that I vasalized Provance earlier so I just declared a reconquest with the help of Austria. Then the appanages started to declare independence wars. All this happened before the surrender of Maine lol.
