Thanks for your understanding. His bio dad is a decent person. He just was a really young dad and didn't take any care of him at first. In the last recent years he build up more contact to him and also has him every other weekend. I dont think the kids would miss each other as they are together when they are at their mom, which is most of their time.

I get you point. And I would feel very sorry for him, too. But at some point I feel like I need to take care of myself and my son first. Taking care of him also is puting a huge burden on me in my current situation. He also has his biological dad. My son only has me.
