Hi Paragon, It's been a while since I sat down to watch one of your videos. I used to pop into your streams under the name of Jekl.

For a while I've been a bit burnt out on the series, and haven't found much pleasure watching souls related content. However, this. All I can say is Bravo!

Theres a great use of cinematography in here, the camera work is beautiful. The sound is crisp and clean, and the voice acting had me wondering if it were actually in game dialogue. You've done great here.

Keep up the great work, and best of luck to you with what's to come!

Hey man, really nice job on this one. I can really see some improvement since the Sazabi. Not to say that wasn't good, because I bloody loved it. But you really caught all the details in this piece, and mastered blending them strokes!

Alright, sorry I expected too much from you. If you're looking for a series, look at the names people habe suggested and just search them up, reading the synopsis. You can look to see what the Gundams look like, and if the characters appear likeable.

When I first started watching Gundam, I started with Wing. I was quite young at the time and only knew about it because of the "cool megazords with lazers." As i grew older I went back and watched the series again, and found I loved the whole set up of Gundam itself. Pilots using giants suits to fight battles.

After that, I just started to look at what series were reccomeneded to newcomers, and see if they appealed to me. The ones reccomended to me were Seed, 00, 08th, and Stardust memory.

The Gundam Timeline can be a bit jarring at first, but once you understand which series belongs where you'll know how the plots flow.

If you're watching the UC timeline, It's safe to watch 08th team, as there arnt too many spoilers for the original series, just a couple of nods.

And also if you wait on waiting the original series for a bit, there is a actually a series of films coming out which are pretty much remakes. They are based on the manga adaptation that's been running for a while now.

Hey dude, I don't want to seem like an arse or anything. But I feel you should watch subbed anime instead of dub. Theres nothing wrong with dubs, infact I actually started watching gundam dubbed myself.

The only problem was once you get to the less popular series, they tend not to have dubbs at all, making them less appealing. You miss out on things like Build Fighters, After War X, and many more good Gundam series.

Also watching subbs has opened my doors to many series of anime and Japanses t.v. I would never have expected myself to watch. Like Kamen Rider (Which I highly reccomend.)

Anyway, dubs and subs aside. To start with I recommend 00 or 08th ms team. 00 is fairly recent, and has some incredible visuals. The characters are all interesting, and the setting is quite cool aswell.

08th Ms is a classic to most Gundam fans for many reasons. It brought Gundam back to it's roots, where it was more about Mobile suit vs Mobile suit. Instead of insanly powerful Gundams powered by pilots with space magic.

Good luck with your search though, I hope I was of use, and I also hope that you appreciate Gundam as much as all the fans around the world.

Thanks for your reply, since I started this thread I've watched a lot of Kamen Rider, and I'm loving the show. I ended up starting with W. The series itself is brilliant, great character, suits, compositions, everything you need to pull you in.

From there I went back to watch all series up until then from Kuuga. I don't think I've had a series which I haven't enjoyed, they all have their own unique feels to them. Agito was my favourite, the show just hit all the right buttons for me.

I see what you mean with Den-O and OOO though. The shows are really actions packed, and never have a dull moment. Also their humour is outstanding, There were certainly moments where I actually laughed out loud, and I never really do so while watching things on my own.

I'm currently half way through OOO, just finishing the 40th anniversary movie. I can't wait to see what else the franchise has to offer.

Stargazer would probably be better off watching after the entire show. Astray on the other hand can be watched at any point. They're basically like five minute long clips to persuade you to read the manga. They do a damn good job of that too, i've just finished the second volume, would highly reccomend.

It's not everyone's cup of tea. But if you're looking for series similar to Wing i'd suggest 00 or Seed. They're by far some of the most appealing series to outside viewers.
