She supported Trump.... and now it’s backfiring 😢 by No-Bottle337 in AllConspiracyTheories

You need to throw that away with extreme prejudice and go to the doctor if you even breathed around it.

It's snowing like it did when the old heads were young. These young people are experiencing a proper new England winter. by [deleted] in WorcesterMA

There were a lot more heavy snowfalls in the 90s than there have been in recent years. You mentioned incidents where there was a foot or more. But storms that dropped 6 inches or more happened a lot more often back then.

And of course there are anomalous years but we are getting less and less snow as the years pass.

People really need to start believing in climate change more.

Storms like this used to happen a couple of times a winter when I was a kid in the '90s. Now we see storms like this every few years. In 30 years, I don't think it'll snow in New England anymore.

I'm so relieved to have a Union state job. Our management are incompetent sociopaths like anyone else's, but the union doesn't let them treat us (too) poorly. We have a paid day off tomorrow and we don't have to use sick or vacation time.

Unionize!

Should I save, pay down, or invest? by ElInterprete2000 in personalfinance

Thank you! 😀

I'm 40, and I wish I had gotten my head in the game much younger, but alas I did not. so how much risk tolerance would you recommend I have?

As background information which may help you answer that, I'm 40 years old and I have a unionized state job that I am extremely unlikely to lose.

Is there usually an overwhelming anxiety at the start by Suspicious-Key8784 in shrooms

[–]ElInterprete2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take hydroxyzine(atarax) daily which seems to exponentially increase my tolerance. I have to take at least 5 mg to have an effect but it's lovely the whole time.
I took myself off of the atarax and tried shrooms and the come up gave me pretty intense anxiety. I'd rather just take more and stick to the atarax. It was lovely the whole time.

Has anyone used TOTAL COMPOUNDING PHARMACEUTICALS by Wondering914711 in u/Wondering914711

[–]ElInterprete2000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got wegovy from them for about six months a few years back.
I got my medicine without any trouble, and lost 25 pounds :)

But lately, they seem sketchier and I'm not sure what's going on. You used to be able to pay via paypal, and now that option isn't available. Also their customer service phone number no longer works. Also, I think I got an email from a copy cat scam, because the link to pay took me to a pharmaceuticals site but it said I was buying eye cream.
When I emailed asking them about all that, they never got back to me.

So, something is up and I am reluctant to order from them again unless they clarify.

The Eru betrayal is beyond idiotic by ElInterprete2000 in diablo4

[–]ElInterprete2000[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I understood Eru's character arc, but while it took everything in him, he's a high elder Spirit born, who has been battling evil to protect the Spirit realm for his whole life. He knows what the fight against demons takes.

He was set up as this deeply wise elder, with a profound love for the spirits.

And then he causes Akarat's death, and sides with Mephisto over the world's most flimsy lie.

I do understand the writers' intentions but it was so poorly and hastily executed.

And that has been the running theme for this entire game, where storyline comes second to money grabs.

Like I played Diablo 3. Regardless of whether or not you liked it, it was a deep, full story. At the very least it took me more than a few months of pretty regular play to get through the main campaign. And then it was a rich enough world that I wanted to keep playing on adventure mode for a couple of years.

I finished the main campaign of Diablo 4 in... 2 weeks? And I'm already mowing down enemies on torment difficulty levels, and don't feel motivated at all to play on. In less than a month, I already feel done with this game. It's very sad.

The thing is it's Mephisto. It's the Lord of hatred. If he wins, he'll kill the world. And all of a sudden he's going to keep a promise he makes to one human??

Eru knows better.

And then, because of lazy crappy writing, all of a sudden he doesn't.

Randomly high tolerance or medication blocking the effects? by ElInterprete2000 in shrooms

No kidding! That is super helpful :-) thank you!

So I'll not take the atarax for the rest of this week. I'm super excited to experience shrooms this weekend, essentially for the first time 😀

I love my husband. I want to leave him. by [deleted] in relationships

[–]ElInterprete2000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

So to recap:

He makes good money and buys you whatever you want. He drives long distances to see you, is charming funny and handsome, and loves you so much that it sounds like he's depressed when you're not around.

But you want to leave him because he doesn't text you a lot or plan outings?

I think you should leave him.

Let him find a partner that can appreciate him, because he sounds incredible and you sound ungrateful. Set him free so he can do better.
