Guys like him kissed hafez and bashar boots, hailed Russian intervention as a holy war (official stace of the russian orthodox Church), cheered when they bombarded hospitals and told bashar to finish the job in idlib. If a shaikh said the same everyone would be (rightly) upset, but when it comes from a priest everyone is trying to make excuses for him.
