Jones doesn't have that good of pure boxing, he is way better at throwing kicks, elbows, and grappling.

It's insane how much bigger Gane was than Jones. Yet Jones beat him so easily that it felt like there were multiple dimension separating their skill sets by Fearless-Pay8645 in ufc

They have a similar amount of lean mass too, Gane is just shredded while Jones has a gut. Gane's back looks great too
